The Executive Chef position is responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling of the kitchen staff.


The Executive Chef follows the companies spec menus, however creativity is highly encouraged to meet the clients budgetary guides and expectations.


Executive Chef is responsible for maintaining all kitchen related expenses and maintaining food costs in accordance with the guidelines provided.


The position is responsible for ensuring safety procedures and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen conducting simulated EcoSure inspections in preparation of the actual inspection. Maintaining MSDS log.

Qualified applicants must have: 3-5 years experience as an Executive Chef; thorough knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations (including budgeting and forecasting); thorough knowledge of preparation techniques; knowledge of food, strong mathematical abilities in order to determine and track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and menu costing.


The position requires you to have high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy and the ability to resolve problems; ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods; ability to access and accurately input information via computer and must have the interpersonal skills needed to provide overall guest satisfaction.


Previous Executive Chef or F&B experience of hotels is a plus.
